Saint-Malo, the corsair city and its shipowners’ houses

The malouine city is the tourist center of Northern Brittany. We recommend a walk on the ramparts, from the Bon-Secours’ pool to the Sillon’s breakwaters and the Grand Bé’s panorama. And to take the ferry to cross the estuary of the Rance to the mansions of Dinard.

Mont-Saint-Michel, the most visited tourist site outside Paris

Its world renown is not without inconvenience, since the medieval city is composed only of small streets. Congestion in the season is more than a feeling. Nevertheless, the site is in itself magnificent. We advise you to climb at the top of the Abbey, to enjoy the panorama on the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. Like in Dinan … It’s a steep slope !

Dinan, a medieval town bordered by the Rance

The elevation of a hill separates the old town, located at the top, from the old-port, located below. Dinan moreover means “Hill of the goddess Ahna” in Celtic. Jerzual Street (for “Jerusalem”) connects the two. This sharp steep street (75 meters of gradient, 35% of declivity in some areas) is also very pleasant to walk, bordered with its old half-timbered houses.

The Cap Fréhel, the most beautiful panorama of the region

The natural site makes it possible to understand why one speaks about “Emerald Coast”. This natural setting allows beautiful walks alongside imposing cliffs of rugged beauty. In the distance, you will notice the Fort La Latte.
